How to read it

Each entry names a source, links to it, and lists the pages here that depend on it. If you want to check us, that is the route: open the statute, read it, and see whether the page said what the law says. We would rather you did that than take our word for it.

Statute links point at the current-year compilation on the Legislature’s own site. Florida amends property, insurance and landlord law most sessions, so a section that reads one way today may not next year — which is exactly why the link matters more than our summary of it.
